Preparation
1. Prepare your pan – Lightly butter or spray a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2. Melt the butter – In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter until fully liquid and lightly golden.
3. Add marshmallows – Stir in the marshmallows and keep mixing until smooth and creamy.
4. Flavor boost – Mix in the pumpkin spice sauce, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Stir well to combine.
5. Fold in cereal – Remove from heat and quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated.
6. Press and set – Transfer mixture into your prepared pan. Press down gently with a buttered spatula or parchment paper so it’s even. Don’t press too hard, or they’ll turn dense.
7. Cool & cut – Let set for at least 30 minutes at room temperature. Slice into squares and enjoy!
